300 volunteers February 2, 1945 departed from Terni to enlist in the battle group "of Cremona reconstituted Italian Army Division to participate in the liberation from Nazi-Fascism. They were mostly ex-partisans Brigade Gramsci who felt more involved in the liberation struggle. On April 10 volunteers went to Terni Alford freeing, but some of them lost their lives: Umberto bollards, Zara Olivio, Ginepri Gildo. The City of Alford in memory of these Terni wanted to remember the deeds with a plaque placed at the entrance of the Palazzo Comunale.
Program
At 10 am in the council hall of the Palazzo Spada, there was a first commemoration ceremony in the presence of the mayor Leopoldo Di Girolamo, civil authorities, military and veterans associations and arms. At 11.30 am, then, was tabled a wreath at the memorial plaque in Piazza Solferino
