Rikers Inmate Visit February

PILLS OF SPEECH by Cristina Rossini

VI SUNDAY OF TIME ORDINARY
YEAR-TO-

Monition ENVIRONMENTAL
Our spiritual pilgrimage to the Holy Land makes us stand still in play in the hill of the Beatitudes of Jesus, the Liturgy of the Word of Today, we understand that the relationship between God and man should not be legalistic, but must involve the heart, should not be based on form, but on the content, we must build on the rituals, but must lead to communion with Him Christ has come to abolish the Law but to give its full completion, to give meaning to the relationship between God and man, to give meaning to our lives.

Monition ON FIRST READING
Man is not like the animal, irrational and driven by pure instinct.
God wanted us free, us with the ability to choose, and to be accountable for our actions. If we trust in Him, if you follow him, we can not make mistakes, otherwise we will be inclined to make mistakes and not every wrong choice enhances our freedom, but destroys it.

Monition THE SECOND READING
Jesus was crucified because no man was able to recognize as God, so that you may recognize, it takes the humility that had the Saints. Only the Holy Spirit makes sense that God has prepared for those who love him, then it is to love the Lord in humility.

Monition THE GOSPEL
The law has received Moses on Mount Sinai was written on stone tablets. Jesus came to write the same law in every human heart.
Since then the relationship between God and man can only be read, learned and studied, but must be lived and embodied every day of our lives.
